Welcome new functionality for the virtual camera in Second Life: ALT-CTL now allows the camera to crane-up/tilt-down and crane-down/tilt-up. Much more interesting angles are now possible.

  1. Just saw that you upgraded to WordPress 2.1! You know, it may be as good as NYC pizza. Well, it’s probably not that good, but maybe.

  2. Interesting–how could you tell?

Also, the paste-from-Word plugin broke the tabbed editor. There’s a WP 2.1-compatible upgrade at the plugin site.

  3. The login is a dead give-away, I just happened to go to your blog while you were in the process of updating, then returned minutes later and looked for the WP 2.1 text in the footer, after that failed I tried the login screen. Why did I do all this on a Sunday evening? Because I am psychotic.

  4. I’m ready for my closeup Dr. Campbell.

Now they need a way to program crane/flying shots through space, like at the beginning of the Sound of Music! I can see myself now, spinning on top of the NMC Campus. 🙂

  5. Ah, if only I had time to run the in-world camera to get that shot. I bet you look great in a pinafore (or whatever Sister Maria is wearing at that moment).
