The Center For Digital Education and its\u00a0Converge<\/em> magazine gave me this very encouraging recognition. One of my first and most key hires at Virginia Commonwealth University, Tom Woodward<\/a>, was also given this award in 2012. Moral: hire award winners wherever possible. At least in this case!<\/p>\n

I put the image here not so much as a humblebrag, though maybe it is that too, but because it’s an unusually good summary of many of my core concerns in the work I do. My approaches shift with context and culture, and this isn’t all I am interested in, but the citation hits many of the high points.<\/p>\n
